This is the only camera feeder we sell that publishes a weather rating. IP65 means dust-tight and tested against low-pressure water jets from any direction — not "weather resistant" as a marketing adjective, but a number from a defined test. On a device holding a camera and a battery outdoors through a winter, that is the specification that decides whether you own it in three years or replace it in one.
Two silos, not one
The hopper is divided down the middle into two separate chambers, and it changes how you use the feeder. Sunflower on one side and safflower or peanut on the other means one station serves two different crowds — cardinals and chickadees on the oil seed, jays and woodpeckers on the nuts — without you mixing a blend and watching the birds kick out everything they don't want.
It also solves the seed-waste problem that makes single-hopper feeders expensive to run. Birds sort. Given a mixed blend they throw the filler on the ground to reach the sunflower. Two chambers means nothing needs sorting.
Both sides refill from a lid on the top, so you are not dismantling the camera housing to top it up.
2.5K, and dual-band WiFi that actually reaches the garden
The camera is a 3-megapixel sensor recording at 2304 × 1296. More useful than the resolution is the aerial: this unit has an external antenna and joins either a 2.4 GHz or a 5 GHz network. Most feeder cameras are 2.4 GHz only. Being able to sit on 5 GHz close to the house, or fall back to 2.4 GHz at the bottom of the garden where it carries further, is the difference between a feeder that streams and one that buffers.
The app does live view, motion notifications, playback and snapshots, and the manufacturer lists cloud storage and multi-user sharing so more than one phone can watch the same feeder.
Two-way audio
There is a microphone and a speaker. The obvious use is hearing the birds rather than watching them silently, and birdsong through the app is a genuinely different experience from muted clips. The less obvious use is that a voice through the speaker moves a squirrel off the tray from wherever you happen to be.
Type-C charging, optional solar
The internal battery charges over USB Type-C. A 3 W solar panel is offered by the manufacturer as an optional add-on and is not part of this listing — assume you will be recharging it by cable unless you source a panel separately. We would rather tell you that now than have you unbox it looking for one.
Three ways to mount it
Wall bracket, tree strap and pole mount are all supported, which matters because the right place for a feeder camera is decided by your WiFi signal and your light, not by which fixing came in the box.

Questions people ask
Is the solar panel included?
No. The manufacturer lists a 3 W panel as an optional accessory and it is not part of this product. Charge over Type-C.
What does IP65 actually protect against?
The 6 means dust-tight. The 5 means it withstands water jets from a nozzle at any angle — so driving rain and garden sprinklers are fine. It is not rated for immersion, so do not site it where it could sit in standing water.
Is there a subscription for the cloud storage?
The manufacturer lists cloud storage as a feature but has not given us pricing or terms, and we are not going to guess. Ask us before ordering if that decides it, and we will get an answer in writing.
Does it have night vision?
No night-vision specification was provided. Treat it as a daylight camera.
How does it compare with your other two camera feeders?
This is the specified one — the only one of the three with a published IP65 rating, dual-band WiFi, two-way audio and two separate seed chambers, and it costs accordingly. Will it identify birds accurately?
The manufacturer advertises recognition of 10,000+ species. Across this product category, identification is dependable on common, well-marked garden birds and much less so on lookalikes — female finches, autumn warblers, the sparrows. Useful, not authoritative.
Where should I put it?
Check your WiFi signal at the exact spot before you fix anything. Then ten feet or so from cover, lens facing away from the low sun, and within ladder reach for refilling.
