The slant and overhang of the roof directs water away from the entry, while a gap on the base drains any captured water. The cedar body aids in insulating the home, and ventilation gaps in the top corners keep it at just the right temperature for nestlings. Lift the front panel upward for nest checks, and use the metal latch to keep it closed and your feathered friends safe. The flat base may be attached to a pole or post using a mounting bracket (not included), or its flat back may be attached to a fence post or wall with the included screws.
