Integrate a bird house into your garden décor throughout the year with this Home Bazaar Season's Tweetings Bird House. Not only will this detailed, all white shelter provide a convenient nesting site for small songbirds; its included, changeable accents enable you to keep it fresh and fun for each season. The extended front porch with overhanging roof and dormer perfectly create a welcoming effect for both songbirds and garden visitors, and intricate detailing throughout the roost captures attention. Trim on the top roof line enhances its steep pitch, and this overhang protects the 1.25" diameter entry and interior nesting area from the elements. Additional gaps beneath this overhang ventilate the shelter, and a bottom hole provides drainage. Hardware cloth beneath the entry enables fledglings to climb upward and reach it when ready to fly, and a generous, rectangular platform supports the domicile. A small depression in the front corner of this platform accommodates the included wooden accents, turning this shelter into a garden focal point. A replica bird house and stylized American flag are great for the summer, while a football and jack-o-lantern figure can be placed here through the fall. Switch that for the Christmas tree in the winter to celebrate throughout the year, with its green color brightly contrasting the white home. A significant back panel removes for nest checks and maintenance, and a tab swings upward to place the piece against a wall or fence post with ease. Rest its flat base on a level surface indoors for a different display, or attach a mounting bracket (not included) to the base for pole or post mounting. Decorate for each season in moments using this Season's Tweetings Bird House.

Note: Climate and the elements will weather the Season's Tweetings Bird House and change its appearance over time; however, weathering will add to the house's natural charm without compromising its function. Should you want to preserve the painted finish, you should select a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use (UV Rated) that will not turn the white paint yellow. You should expect that once left outside, the product will weather and require refinishing.

Frequently asked questions

What is this made from?

The exact materials for this piece are listed in the specifications above. Across the range we use untreated cedar, kiln-dried hardwood, metal, ceramic, glass, recycled cotton and preserved moss. A few designs — window feeders and the recycled-plastic range — do use plastic, and where they do it is stated on the product page.

Will it look exactly like the photo?

Images are representative. Our range comes from a number of independent workshops and suppliers, so an item may occasionally differ slightly from the photo in finish, grain, colour or small details. Natural wood and hand-finished pieces are never identical to one another. We are bringing more of the range into our own inventory to reduce this. If what arrives is not what you expected, email support@birdlover.store — returns are free for 30 days.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is free on every order, to all 28 countries in our delivery zone — you will see whether yours is covered at checkout. The range comes from a number of different small workshops and suppliers, so dispatch times vary from piece to piece, and items in the same order may arrive separately. We would rather not quote a delivery window we cannot keep, so we do not: you will get tracking by email as soon as your order ships.

Can I leave it outside all year?

Nearly everything here is built for year-round outdoor use — check the specifications above if you are unsure about a particular piece. Untreated wood will silver and weather over time; that is normal and does not affect how it works.

What if it is not right?

Return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund, for any reason. Return shipping is free — email support@birdlover.store and we will send you a prepaid return label. If it arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item, send a photo and we will put it right straight away. Refunds are issued within 5–7 business days of the item reaching us. EU customers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
