Nutcracker Bird House with LEDs

Transform your yard into a exclusive, illuminative display of yuletide cheer and welcome birds to the garden with this Home Bazaar Nutcracker Bird House with LEDs. This expansive, uniquely designed, white and red dwelling will serve as a dramatic and bright focal point in your bird sanctuary, while lending an all new homage to the wonder and whimsy of the holiday season. Eye-catching window frames, fencing, and an attention grabbing door populate the front of this quintessential home, providing ample color while festooning this domicile with seasonal allure. Green, fabric wreaths and holly accentuate the faux windows and fencing, while adding a dash of contrasting green to the home's coloration, and a pair of detailed nutcrackers stand guard on either side of the front door. These one-of-a-kind sentries each stand 5" tall and sport black and gold top hats to go with their faux white hair and beards. Each of these nutcracker's outfits sports additional gold, red, black, and blue tones for a regal flair while they serve as faithful, seasonal symbols. A small balcony emerges from the rustic, gabled roof, for an extra addition of yuletide opulence. Wood shingles cover this generous roof to protect the house with natural, unembellished charm, and white LEDs running along the roof line instill visual intrigue and brightness to the holiday home, expertly accentuating the colorful palette. A 1.25" diameter opening sits on each side of this large abode, just below the roof, creating dual nesting chambers for your feathered friends, and a screen ladder on each interior side wall rests just below the entrance to encourage nestlings to climb out of the abode with ease. A drainage hole on the shelter's generous base ensures the nests remain dry and fresh, while the unit's expansive back panel can be removed with ease for cleanings and nest checks. Within this back section rests a plastic battery compartment inside a wooden frame. This plastic compartment accommodates three AA batteries (not included), and sports a handy switch letting you turn on the LEDs for a dazzling, seasonal display. Alternatively, set the integrated timer and let the LEDs automatically illuminate for 6 hours while remaining dark for 18. The small boards provide a lovely barrier between the battery compartment and visiting birds, with the plastic casement adding weather resistance. A rear mounting paddle sports a predrilled hole and swings upward easily to let you place this seasonal showcase against a wall, post, or fence. For a different type of display, the large base may accommodate a mounting plate (not included) to allow for placement on a pole or post. The striking home's wooden construction features a finish using water based paints, ensuring this lovely, holiday homage will remain fashionable and reliable throughout multiple, celebratory seasons of service. Light up your holly and jolly bird sanctuary and welcome all feathered friends with the unique, outstanding Nutcracker Bird House with LEDs.

Note: Climate and the elements will weather this Nutcracker Bird House with LEDs and change its appearance over time; however, weathering will add to the item's natural charm without compromising its function. Should you want to preserve the finish (paint) of this house, you should cover it with several layers of a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use (UV Rated) that will not turn the white paint yellow. You should expect that once left outside, the item will weather and require refinishing.
