The cypress exterior of the home is scored throughout it, evoking tree bark, and its curved sides bring a touch of fun. The asymmetrical roof furthers the jovial feel, and its multicolored shakes and copper ridge help protect the home. The 1.5" diameter entry hole enables chickadees, wrens, and even bluebirds to use the item. The home stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter with help from the ventilation slots beneath the roof overhang, and a drainage hole in the center of the base keeps the nest dry. A copper panel on the back of the piece can be removed for seasonal cleaning or nest checks, and the house may easily be pole mounted using a 3" by 4" mounting bracket (not included).
