The pitched roof's black tone and copper colored ridging pleasantly contrast the white walls and overhangs each of the entryways, keeping roosting martins dry while also remaining easily removable for nest checks and cleaning. Gaps below the roof add ventilation, and an integrated bracket on the bottom of the home makes for easy mounting on a standard 4 x 4 wooden post (not included).
