A generous, 2.8 quart capacity seed tube rests in the center of the item, holding mixed or other type seed. Six arches on the bottom of the seed tube allow feed to exit the reservoir to rest on the platform. Place suet, fruit, or mealworms on this tray to entice a wider variety of birds to visit. The steep roof and decorative finial prevent water from entering the reservoir and ruining the feed, and the clear plastic tube allows seed levels to remain visible at all times. The Dogwood Bird Feeder is constructed from solid PVC trimboard, which will not mold, mildew, or delaminate for years of use. The verdigris colored, PVC roof contrasts the vivid white of the feeder itself, bringing an antique feel to the item, and a preinstalled mounting collar easily accepts a true 4" x 4" post (not included).
