The 1.125" diameter openings to the two compartments are framed, evoking windows, and a cupola adds a finishing touch. The roof boasts actual shingles, which will offer the same protection as the shingles on your home. The black color of the roof perfectly contrasts the gleaming white home, creating a classic look. Drainage holes on the base help the nests stay dry, and the top level detaches from the bottom for seasonal nest checks and cleanouts. This house is handcrafted of kiln-dried hardwood, exterior grade plyboard, and non-toxic oil-based exterior paint. Use a mounting plate (not included) to attach this home to a post or pole, or place it in your home for a dramatic and exciting decoration. Small padded feet in each corner allow it to rest on a flat surface without scratching. Add a bold look to your bird garden with this Clubhouse Bird House.
