Different birds want different food: finches and chickadees take seed from a tube, woodpeckers and nuthatches go for suet and peanuts, and cardinals want a flat tray to stand on. A feeding station puts all of that on one pole, so one spot in the garden serves them all. The BIRDLOVER 94" Multi-Hook Bird Feeding Station Pole Kit comes with the pole, a 5-prong ground stake, hanging hooks, a clamp-on water dish, a clamp-on mesh seed tray and four feeders, so you can set up a complete station from one box. Free shipping & 30-day returns.

What's in the Kit

  • The pole and stake: a sectional black powder-coated steel pole, 94 in tall assembled (per supplier), on a 5-prong step-in stake: a centre spike plus four outer prongs that steady it in a lawn or flower bed.
  • Six hanging hooks (per supplier), so the four included feeders still leave room for two more of your own.
  • Four feeders: a wire mesh peanut feeder, two 2-port seed tube feeders and a wire suet cake cage.
  • A clamp-on water dish and a clamp-on mesh seed tray that fix to the pole with wing-nut clamps, so you choose the height of each without tools.

What to Put Where

  • Seed tubes: black-oil sunflower or a sunflower-heart mix for chickadees, titmice, nuthatches and finches. Standard seed ports are too large for straight nyjer, which pours out; use a nyjer feeder for that.
  • Peanut feeder: shelled peanuts for woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees and jays.
  • Suet cage: a standard suet cake for woodpeckers and nuthatches, the best food on the pole in cold weather.
  • Mesh tray: safflower or sunflower for Northern Cardinals, which prefer a flat surface to a tube perch. Bluebirds come for dried mealworms, not seed, so put mealworms in the tray if you want them.
  • Water dish: fresh water for drinking and bathing. Husks and seed fall into a dish fixed below feeders, so change the water every day and keep the dish below the tray rather than under the tubes if you can.

Good to Know

  • It is not squirrel-proof on its own. Squirrels climb poles and jump from fences and branches. Follow the 5-7-9 rule: feeders at least 5 feet off the ground, 7 feet from anything a squirrel can jump from and 9 feet below overhanging branches. A pole baffle helps if squirrels are a problem.
  • Height in the ground: 94 in is the assembled height including the stake, so the top sits a little lower once the stake is pushed in.
  • Soft ground holds it best. Push the stake into moist soil, firm the soil around it, and put heavier feeders on opposite hooks to keep the pole balanced.
  • Winter water: the dish will freeze in a hard frost; empty it on freezing nights.

Frequently asked questions

What is this made from?

The exact materials for this piece are listed in the specifications above. Across the range we use untreated cedar, kiln-dried hardwood, metal, ceramic, glass, recycled cotton and preserved moss. A few designs — window feeders and the recycled-plastic range — do use plastic, and where they do it is stated on the product page.

Will it look exactly like the photo?

Images are representative. Our range comes from a number of independent workshops and suppliers, so an item may occasionally differ slightly from the photo in finish, grain, colour or small details. Natural wood and hand-finished pieces are never identical to one another. We are bringing more of the range into our own inventory to reduce this. If what arrives is not what you expected, email support@birdlover.store — returns are free for 30 days.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is free on every order, to all 28 countries in our delivery zone — you will see whether yours is covered at checkout. The range comes from a number of different small workshops and suppliers, so dispatch times vary from piece to piece, and items in the same order may arrive separately. We would rather not quote a delivery window we cannot keep, so we do not: you will get tracking by email as soon as your order ships.

Can I leave it outside all year?

Nearly everything here is built for year-round outdoor use — check the specifications above if you are unsure about a particular piece. Untreated wood will silver and weather over time; that is normal and does not affect how it works.

What if it is not right?

Return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund, for any reason. Return shipping is free — email support@birdlover.store and we will send you a prepaid return label. If it arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item, send a photo and we will put it right straight away. Refunds are issued within 5–7 business days of the item reaching us. EU customers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
